Abstract: The integration of Systems Engineering (SE) and Human Factors Engineering (HFE) is essential for developing comprehensive and reliable systems. This paper addresses the challenge of disparate vocabularies between these domains by leveraging ontologies to facilitate a common understanding. Utilizing standard practices and tools, the creation and implementation of ontologies are demonstrated through this research. By establishing a shared language and linking domain-specific terms, this work highlights the potential of ontological virtual models to enhance stakeholder communications.
