Abstract: This study investigates the impact of increasing air bladder numbers in car seats on ride comfort through X-ray analysis. It assesses how these changes affect the driver's lumbar support, exploring the relationship between seat design and comfort. Participants, with varied demographics, were tested using seats with different air bladder counts. Utilizing X-ray imagery, the study compares spinal alignment in different sitting positions. Results showed that seats with more air bladders significantly enhanced comfort. This suggests that more air bladders in car seats can improve driver support and reduce discomfort, contributing valuable insights for automotive seat design.
